Before pruning After pruning
Trunk and branch structure is hidden by the abundant foliage and branches. Many stems and branches were removed back to the trunk. Now the structure is clearly visible. This amount of pruning, removing perhaps 50% or more of the foliage, is best suited for situations where trees will not be pruned again for several years.
